Refund Policy
Failed transactions are reversed automatically. Successful services are non-refundable. Here are the details.
1. Automatic Wallet Reversals
If a payment is charged to your wallet but the underlying utility provider fails to deliver the service (for example, an invalid meter number or a carrier outage), the Satobyte gateway triggers an automatic rollback. 100% of the funds are credited back to your wallet within seconds. No support ticket is required.
2. What Is Non-Refundable
- Successfully delivered services: An airtime recharge that has reached the recipient line, a data plan that has been activated, an electricity token that has been issued, or a cable TV bouquet that has been activated on the decoder.
- Wrong recipient details: If you entered an incorrect phone number, meter number, or IUC number at checkout, the service is delivered to that recipient and cannot be reversed.
- Duplicate purchases: If you click "Confirm" twice and two successful transactions are recorded, only the second is eligible for refund once you contact support.
3. Refund Request Procedure
If you believe a transaction was incorrectly marked as successful, or you experienced a duplicate charge, contact support@satobyte.com within 30 days with your order ID. Our support team will investigate and either:
- Reverse the charge to your wallet (no fee), or
- Provide documentary evidence that the service was actually delivered (network confirmation, meter confirmation, decoder confirmation).
4. Wallet Withdrawals
Wallet balances are not withdrawable to a bank account, in line with our Terms and CBN AML regulations. Refunds are issued only as wallet credit, redeemable against future Satobyte services.
5. SLTV Decoder Activations
SLTV packages are activated by our admin team. If we are unable to activate the decoder within 24 hours of payment, the transaction is auto-reversed. Activations completed before 24 hours (the vast majority) are non-refundable.
