Built in Nigeria. Built for Nigerians.
Satobyte Technologies is a Nigerian fintech building the fastest, most reliable utility payment gateway for airtime, data, electricity, cable TV, and SLTV. We exist to make every bill in Nigeria payable in seconds.
Every Nigerian bill, paid in seconds.
We started Satobyte because paying a bill in Nigeria should not require three apps, a USSD code, and a 30-minute queue. Today, our platform processes thousands of utility payments daily — airtime recharges that hit instantly, electricity tokens that arrive by SMS, SLTV decoders activated by our team within minutes.
Every Satobyte product is built around three principles: instant delivery, transparent pricing, and bank-grade security. No platform fees, no hidden charges, no failed transactions lost in a void — and if anything does go wrong, our 100% auto-reversal kicks in.
Three principles, every transaction
Instant delivery
Airtime, data, and electricity tokens arrive in under 5 seconds. SLTV decoders are activated by our team within minutes. No "24–48 hours" anywhere on the platform.
Transparent pricing
No platform fees on airtime, no hidden gateway charges, no markup on data. You pay exactly what the network charges. If pricing changes, we tell you first.
100% auto-reversal
If a provider fails to deliver, the gateway rolls back automatically. Funds return to your wallet within seconds, with a failure log you can review. No support ticket required.
Bank-grade security
256-bit SSL on every request, bcrypt password hashing, mandatory 4-digit transaction PIN, and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Paystack and Flutterwave.
How Satobyte came to be
Satobyte was founded by a small team of Nigerian engineers who had spent years building payment infrastructure for fintechs across Nigeria. We saw the same problem everywhere: customers juggling USSD codes, mobile apps, and web dashboards just to pay one bill. Merchants and resellers stitching together five different APIs to deliver one transaction.
We built Satobyte to be the platform we wished existed — a single, fast, secure gateway for every Nigerian utility payment. Airtime, data, electricity, cable TV, SLTV, and the long tail of telecoms services (phone rentals, static IPs) all under one wallet, one PIN, and one set of receipts.
Today, Satobyte processes thousands of transactions daily and serves customers across all 36 Nigerian states plus the FCT. We are a registered Nigerian company (Satobyte Technologies) operating in compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria's AML and KYC directives.
